This policy explains information processed when you use zazabook.com and its massage booking and shop chat service.

1. Information we collect

A booking stores the customer’s name, selected service, and appointment date and time. Email and phone are optional. Chat messages and the selected language are stored when chat is used. Shop-owner accounts are linked to a login email and shop details. Booking and chat information is visible to the shop selected by the customer so it can manage the reservation, check availability, and reply to questions.

To request access, correction, or deletion, contact hello@zazabook.com. Records that must be retained by law may be excepted from deletion.

Booking and new-chat alerts are recorded inside the service. Shop owners using the mobile app may receive push notifications. When Resend email delivery is enabled, booking alerts may also be sent to the shop owner's email and may include the customer's name, guest count, service, and appointment date and time. Chat alert emails may include the full customer message.

If a private local language model is configured, the original message is sent to the internal server running that model for translation. Messages are not sent to a third-party translation provider. Without a configured local model, the original is retained and automatic translation is unavailable.

2. Mobile app for shop owners (iOS and Android)

The Zazabook mobile app is for shop owners. It keeps your sign-in session in the device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore-backed storage) and removes it when you sign out or the session expires. To send booking and chat alerts, the app registers a push token for your device with our server; the token is used to deliver notifications through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and, on iPhone, Apple's push notification service. An alert contains the customer's name, the service and booking time, or the start of a chat message. The app shows your own shop's bookings, including the name and the phone number or email the customer provided. It contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not collect your location, contacts, photos or other device data. You can turn notifications off in your device settings, and signing out removes the device's push token from your account. To delete your data, email hello@zazabook.com.

3. Analytics

Visit statistics are measured with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami does not identify individuals and does not use cross-site tracking cookies.

To operate the service, we record button clicks and browser or server errors as operational telemetry. We store page routes, fixed action keys, and shortened error summaries; clicks are aggregated hourly, and telemetry records are deleted after 30 days. Browser telemetry excludes form values, full stack traces, IP addresses, and URL query strings. Signup alerts may include the shop name and owner login email. Error and signup summaries may be emailed to service operators.

4. Advertising & cookies (Google AdSense)

The Site may display ads served by the third-party vendor Google.

5. Consent for EEA, UK & Switzerland users

Visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent banner via a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP), letting them choose whether to allow cookies and data use. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time.

6. Affiliate links

Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you buy a product or service through them, the Site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not influence our editorial conclusions.
